Audi E-tron Quattro Concept Electric Mileage Range
We always love sharing news about the latest technology and innovation to arrive from Audi, and it would seem we have some more news to share ahead of the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show. It comes in the form of a new electric concept known as the Audi e-tron quattro concept, which Audi has teased with a little information ahead of this year's show in Frankfurt. What makes this special, is the Audi E-tron quattro concept electric mileage range.
With constant technological innovations from Audi, achievements like this concept model do not surprise us. But that doesn't mean we still aren't impressed. How can we not be when we hear that the Audi e-tron quattro concept, designed as a sporty SUV between the lengths of the Audi Q5 and Quaid Q7, is capable of traveling up to 500 kilometers (310 miles) while being powered by its electric motors.
Audi E-tron Quattro Concept Motor Specs and Performance
Wait a minute. Did we say "motors," as in more than one motor? Indeed we did. The Audi e-tron quattro concept is equipped with three electric motors. One of the motors is located on the front axle, while the other two are on the rear axle. The lithium-ion battery is positioned between the axles that allows for a lower center of gravity and balance when it comes to the axle load distribution.
Unfortunately, we don't yet know what kind of power these three engines combine to provide drivers behind the wheel. But we do know that you can check back here for more information upon the model's full reveal at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show. By then, we will hopefully be seeing more of this concept model's innovative features and sleek SUV style. Stay tuned.
