Audi 2.5 TFSI Engine Specs and Performance

In the previous case, it showed in sales figures, but now Audi’s dedication to being the best is showing up once again, this time through an award winning engine in the 2.5 TFSI. The Audi 2.5-liter TFSI engine was named the International Engine of the Year for the 2.0 to 2.5-liter category. Impressively, this is the sixth consecutive time that the engine has earned this award. It was noted that the engine was reliable and a pleasure to drive.
The engine was highlighted in Audi’s RS 3 Sportback. Inside the RS 3 Sportback the 2.5-liter TFSI is capable of producing 270 kW or 367 horsepower, as well as 465 Nm or 343 lb-ft of torque. The maximum torque is available at 1625 rpm and can remain at a constant level up to the 5500 rpm mark.
Furthermore, the RS 3 Sportback when equipped with the 2.5-liter TFSI is extremely quick. The car is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (or up to 62.1 mph) in only 4.3 seconds, with a top speed of 280 km/h or 174 mph. How is that for speed?
The engine was also highlighted in the Audi RS Q3, where it delivered 250 kW or 340 horsepower, as well as 450 Nm or 331.9 lb-ft of torque. It was able to accelerate from 0 too 100 km/h (62.1 mph) in only 4.8 seconds to reach a top speed of 250 km/h (155.3 mph).
