2018 All-Electric Audi SUV Mileage Range

Audi definitely knows how to stir up a bit of interest in their vehicles, and recently, at their annual press conference, the German automaker announced that they would be releasing a new, all-electric SUV in early 2018. Details on the vehicle are still quite vague at the moment, and as we’re still a ways away from the release date, it’s not surprising that we don’t know much at this point, but we do know a few things.

As we just said, the release date of the all-electric Audi SUV is expected to arrive early in 2018. The name is rumored to be the Audi Q6 E-Tron, which would make sense seeing as the electric version of the R8 was just recently dubbed the Audi R8 E-Tron, but take that with a grain of salt, as we have yet to get any official word on the title. We do know about the 2018 all-electric Audi SUV mileage range, however.

According to the automaker, the mileage range of the upcoming SUV is expected to be 500 kilometers, or more. For those of you who prefer to track by the mile, that equates to 310 miles. With that impressive range, the all-electric Audi SUV would be able to travel a bit further than the aforementioned R8 E-Tron.

If Audi is able to hit the expected mileage mark—and we have no reason to believe that they won’t be able to—the Q6 E-Tron, or whatever the title of the new electric SUV ends up being, would be one of the most impressive SUVs not only in the Audi lineup, but the market as a whole. For that reason, we could not be any more excited for the release date of the newly-announced electrified Audi to arrive in 2018.

At the top of the page, you’ll see the picture that Audi has attached to the model. Unfortunately, this is the only shot of the new model that we have to pull from at this point. More information is likely to arrive soon though, including more details on the mileage range, as well as the electric motors that will provide the new SUV with that range.
