2013 Audi A5 Named Top Aspirational Car in AutoPacific IVAsAug 27th, 2013
The 2013 Audi A5 has been awarded the top spot in the Aspirational Luxury Car category in this year’s AutoPacific Ideal Vehicle Awards (IVAs). Results of the IVAs are based on a survey of over 52,000 new car and light truck owners and winners are recognized for meeting owner’s expectations and desires about their automotive purchases. Audi also ranked highly in the Premium Brands and Luxury Car categories.
Established in 2006, the IVAs are based on a model-year survey of automotive owners and are designed to help consumers make informed vehicle purchase decisions with a true “peer-to-peer” survey. The survey reflects the views of owners who have driven their 2013 vehicles for 90 days or more. The IVAs recognize vehicles where owners want the least amount of change across 15 key vehicle attributes including: exterior styling, exterior size, passenger roominess, cargo space, driver’s seat comfort, driver’s seat visibility, info/entertainment technology, interior lighting, power and acceleration, ease of getting in and out, interior storage compartments, ride, handling, safety features and tires and wheels.
“We’re thrilled for Audi to once again have been ranked the number one Aspirational Luxury Vehicle in AutoPacific’s Ideal Vehicle Awards for the second year in a row,” said Mark Del Rosso, Chief Operating Officer, Audi of America. “The A5 continues to impress consumers by exuding sophistication, engineering, performance and design, the ultimate reward for drivers who enjoy the journey and not just the destination.”
