Audi on Ice: Not the Usual ExperienceNov 18th, 2010
As part of Audi’s worldwide series, The Audi Driving Experience, one of particular seasonal interest is the Audi Ice Experience.
Held in various locations including Sweden, Finland and the Souther Alps of New Zealand, the course is designed to go give real hands-on experience to drivers wanting to learn more about the technology in modern cars, especially Audi.
Using theory and real seat-time, drivers are exposed to how to best use Anti-lock Braking Systems (ABS) and Electronic Stability Program (ESP).
In addition to learning about the safety benefits, drivers are also taught how to handle the performance aspect of the cars (which is the fun part).
Now, while you may not be able to travel the world to experience these one of a kind adventures, you can watch the video below to get an idea of what they present during the intense days on the icy tracks of New Zealand.
