Audi Q7 E-Tron Unveiled at 2015 Shanghai Auto Show
Audi Q7 E-Tron Specs and Features
Audi is rolling out some exciting new vehicles at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show, including the Audi Q7 e-tron 2.0 TFSI quattro. Though the vehicle was developed specifically for Asian markets such as China, Singapore and Japan, it’s still fun to look at the Audi Q7 e-tron specs and features.
Even though the vehicle may never reach North America, at least not with the same specs as the model in Shanghai, the Audi Q7 deserves recognition as the first TFSI plug-in hybrid that Audi has paired with the impressive quattro all-wheel drive system. This innovative new vehicle will be available for the Asian market in 2016.
The rest of us must wait, however, in hopes that we see the model arrive on our shores. For now, though, we can still stare in awe at everything the Q7 e-tron is bringing to Audi drivers overseas, such as a comfortable and sporty ride that has a total range of 1,020 kilometers or 633.8 miles.
Up to 53 kilometers, or 32.9 miles, of that distance can be covered solely through electric capabilities should it be required. Like the expected 2018 all-electric Audi SUV that leaked onto the scene, these are some impressive figures.
Despite the impressive efficiency, the Q7 e-tron is anything but weak. With 367 horsepower and 516.3 lb.-ft. of torque, the model delivers a sporty drive. It is said to be comfortable too, offering the largest interior compared to competitors in the field.
The model’s infotainment system can be utilized through voice commands, the multifunction steering wheel or MMI touchpad. Other infotainment options are in the rear through the Audi tablet.
The Audi Q7 e-tron specs and features certainly impress, but for now, we will have to enjoy them from afar. Be sure to stay up to date on electric and hybrid developments from Audi right here on the Audi Royal Oak blog. You can also view current Audi models on our website.
