Setting Up Audi Bluetooth Connectivity
How to Connect Your Phone to Audi Bluetooth
Audi models come with a wide range of tech features that can enhance your everyday driving experience. In order to take advantage of these features, however, it is important to learn how to use them properly. Today, we will show you how to connect your phone to Audi Bluetooth so that you can utilize hands-free calling and phone functions.
The first thing you want to do is have your vehicle parked and stationary. The ignition, however, should be on. Once that is taken care of, the Bluetooth function in both the vehicle’s MMI screen and your cellphone must be enabled.
If you have everything ready to go, just search for Audi MMI on your cell phone’s Bluetooth screen. Once it is displayed on your phone, press the Audi MMI selection.
Now look back over to your Audi MMI screen, where you should see a display asking for a PIN number entry. Choose “Yes” and the Audi MMI will then display a PIN number, asking you to verify it with the number displayed on your Bluetooth phone. If the numbers are the same, press the round MMI control knob button to select “Yes” and then go back to your phone to select “Pair” on your phone’s screen as well.
Some phones may ask you to enter a four-digit PIN number that you come up with. If this is the case, create something that you can easily remember. The MMI will tell you that PIN number entry is required. Select “Yes” with the control knob button and then use the control knob again to enter your created PIN into the Audi MMI. Lastly, press the “OK” control button and you will be ready to go.
Your phone will automatically connect to your Audi vehicle from now on. It should also automatically upload your phone contacts into the MMI for easy access.
